Director of Communications and Brand
Location: London, with flexible working
Salary: circa £110k
Our client, an impressive AIM-listed business services firm, is seeking its first Director of Corporate Communications & Brand, to help build and enhance the reputation of the business externally and develop a leading internal communications and EVP strategy internally.
Based across over 70 locations internationally and operating in 14 markets, this is a significant business with ambitious growth plans.
This role will have responsibility for all internal and external communications as well as investor relations (although this won’t be a large part of the role). The role manages a direct team of 3, with a further 3 dotted line reports in from some of the larger businesses in the group. There is also a community of communicators to influence.
You will be working with the leadership team and CEO daily so will need to be confident in your ability and able to influence at all levels within the organisation. Ideally, this will be the perfect next career step for someone who has managed Corporate Comms for a division of a FTSE or equivalent, or who has been a Corporate Communications deputy within a smaller FTSE 350 or AIM-listed business and is looking to develop into the number 1 job.
You have to be agile, keen to grow as the role and business expands, passionate about the impact that great comms can have both internally and externally, and willing to be working highly strategically one minute and immersed in tactical delivery the next. As such the role needs someone who is flexible, creative, and agile.
